NANZQ Events and Services

The Association offers many services to members and the quilting community including:

• NANZQ Quilts Aotearoa - an annual juried exhibition held inconjuction with the Craft & Quilt Fair Hamilton and Christchurch in September. Only NANZQ Members are eligible to enter quilts in this exhibition.
  
• NANZQ Challenge and travelling exhibition  - a biennial challenge open to all NANZQ members. 
• "Illumination" NANZQ Challenge 2009 in associaion with Husqvarna Viking. competition results.
  
• Judging Mentorships - in association with NANZQ Quilts Aotearoa and our Challenges members have the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced judges..
• NANZQ Newsletter – members receive the quarterly NANZQ Newsletter.
  
• NANZQ Shop Directory and Register of Quilts in Public Places – a valued publication printed annually advertising Quilt Shops throughout New Zealand.
  
• Yahoo discussion group (nanzq@yahoogroups.com) open to members.
  
• NANZQ supports National Symposia.
  
• Preserves New Zealand Quilting Archives.
  
• Maintains Groups/Guilds Lists.
  
• The National Association of New Zealand Quilters is proud to have a column listing a Calendar of Events.
