NANZQ CHALLENGE 2004

'TAKE TWO'

TAKE TWO - shades of any two colours.

The fourth challenge issued to members of the National Association of New Zealand Quilters. Members were issued the challenge of using only two colours and what a striking exhibition this was. The challenge attracted 37 entries and the exhibition, selected and judged by Sue Wademan of Queenstown, toured 15 galleries nationally from July 2004 - October 2005. Following NANZQ's forum on 'Selecting and Judging Quilts for Exhibition' at Christchurch Symposium 2003 the first two quilters to participate in our Judging Mentoring Programme Janet Ryan and Judith Ross attended judging day to learn from Sue.
