Membership

Membership is available to all quilters, both those residing in New Zealand and those residing elsewhere but wishing to keep in touch with what is happening on the New Zealand quilting scene.

Membership of the Association is from 1 May to 30 April and is open to individuals only. The cost is $30 within New Zealand or $33 to Australia and the Pacific, $35 to North America and $40 elsewhere. New Zealand funds or the equivalent accepted.

Why Join?

• The Association produces an extensive quarterly newsletter, including a colour insert and containing news, views, reviews, members profiles, a "What's On" column, plus much more.
• A Shop Directory is issued free to members each December. Shops advertise their specialties, hours of business and exact locations. This includes a "Quilts in Public Places" database featuring approximately 80 quilts.
• A New Zealand Tutors List is available to individuals and Guilds/Groups within New Zealand and other parties hiring quilting tutors, both in New Zealand and Overseas.
• Entry to our biennial challenge “Illumination” NANZQ Challenge 2009 in association Husqvarna Viking and our annual member's only NANZQ Quilts Aotearoa Exhibition. (Both forms require Adobe Reader)
• Master Class by renowned overseas tutor every 4 years.
